CIBINONG (10 July 2021) – The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Ciungwanara Center continues to participate in handling the Covid-19 pandemic. The Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharani, has instructed the establishment of public kitchens for the Covid-19 pandemic emergency response services at the Ministry of Social's Centers.

Following the instructions from the Minister of Social Affairs, Ciungwanara Center of Bogor in collaboration with the Inten Soeweno Center Team and Tagana established a public kitchen to meet the nutritional needs (provision and distribution of boiled eggs) for health workers spread across several hospitals in Bogor area.

The head of the Ciungwanara Center, Siti Sari Rumayanti, explained that the establishment of a public kitchen was aimed at maximizing the nutritional intake of health workers who provide services to patients confirmed to have COVID-19. When nutritional intake is received optimally, it is hoped that these health workers can have a good immune system so that when they make direct contact with COVID-19 patients, they are not easily infected.

The previous coordination was carried out by Ciungwanara Center together with Inten Soeweno Center Team, Tagana of Bogor and the Directorate of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA) of the Ministry of Social Affairs in preparation for the establishment of a public kitchen. Taufik as the coordinator of Tagana Bogor, expressed his gratitude for the collaboration with 2 (two) Technical Implementation Units of the Ministry of Social Affairs in the context of providing and distributing boiled eggs for health workers.

"We are very grateful for the efforts of the Ministry of Social Affairs through Ciungwanara and Inten Soeweno Centers. Hopefully, it can help health workers who are struggling to provide health services for Covid-19 patients spread across several areas of Bogor," said Taufik.
