MUARO BUNGO (17 July 2020) - Following up on activities to provide social assistance for children neglected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Bungo Regency, The Ministry of Social Affairs through children's center "Alyatama" Jambi carried out Monitoring and Evaluation activities in 4 Child Welfare Institutions (LKSA) Bungo Regency
The 4 LKSA are Aisyiyah Orphanage, Nurul Khoiriyah Foundation, Qira'atul Qur'an Foundation, and Hijratul Khair Foundation. The four LKSA each received 25 packages of groceries social assistance.
This activity is carried out to determine the level of utilization of the social assistance that has been provided, the accuracy of the target recipients of the social assistance and the completeness of the accountability report.
"Alhamdulillah, the assistance provided is very helpful for our children. Yes, although not all children in this orphanage receive it, they are very happy to receive this assistance," said Haidir as Chair of the Nurul Khoiriyah Foundation.
In addition, Monev also aims to find out what obstacles are faced by assistants in the distribution process to compiling accountability reports.
"In terms of reporting, thank God, there is no problem. The social worker for child protection who is assigned to the District Social Service really helped us. It's just that yesterday because there were some children who went home because of COVID-19, so yes, we had to take each child to their house. Apart from That's yes, if possible in the future, for example, if there is assistance for our LKSA, the number will be increased so that all children can get it," said Nur Asmi as the caretaker of the Aisyiyah Orphanage.
