JAKARTA (1 July 2021) – The Ministry of Social Affairs has arranged for employees workplace either at home or in the office, considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

"I have made rules that only 10 percent of employees working at the office or Work From Office (WFO)," said Social Minister Tri Rismaharini in Jakarta, Wednesday (30/6/2021).

Previously, Circular Letter (SE) Number 1118/1/KP.08.01/06/2021, dated June 25, 2021, was issued and became the guideline for all employees at the Ministry of Social Affairs (MOSA) in adapting to new habits of working in the office in pandemic situation.

Meanwhile, the work place rules in Technical Service Unit (UPT) offices is in accordance with the policies of the regional government.

“I am afraid of this virus. But when I'm outside, I'm not that afraid. However, it is just that outside is hot and I feel safer working outside temporarily ,” said the Social Minister.

Working conditions with a large number of employees make the room full resulting in poor air circulation. Therefore, 90 percent employees are deemed to Work From Home (WFH).

"But for me it is not possible to work from home, because my task is to directly supervise jobs in the field," said the Social Minister.

Today, Social Minister Tri Rismaharini works outdoors precisely in the courtyard of the Ministry of Social Affairs office in Salemba, Central Jakarta.
