The Highlight of the 26th National Elderly Day (HLUN) 2022

CIBALONG (May 29, 2022) - In commemoration of the 26th National Elderly Day (HLUN) of 2022 which was held in Tasikmalaya Regency with the theme "Healthy Elderly, Strong Indonesia" the event was held simultaneously in 39 Districts which was opened directly by the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini.

The highlight of the event in Tasikmalaya Regency was simultaneous teleconferences in 39 sub-districts in the district, for the Bengkulu "Dharma Guna" Center to carry out National Elderly Day (HLUN) activities in Cibalong District.

The participants presented to this activity were local Muspika; Cibalong Sub-district, Babinsa, Police Officers and 300 Elderly Beneficiaries who were presented in Cibalong sub-district, followed by a series of elderly exercise activities, health checks (blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid, and cataracts) and delivery of ATENSI program given after the event was over, Beneficiaries fulfillment of 209 packages of decent living needs, 300 packages of nutritional assistance, 24 units of assistive devices and 1 elderly recipient of RTLH in the form of bedding, cooking and eating utensils.

As representatives of MoSA, "Dharma Guna" Bengkulu Center, thank you for the cooperation of field officers and Cisempur Village officials who worked day and night to build a house for Grandma Mariah, hopefully, our hard and sincere work will get blessings from God.

Grandma Mariah, one of the beneficiaries said, "I am very grateful for the assistance that has been given to me, I lived in a hut with a ground floor, and now I can enjoy a decent house, and is not cold anymore." She said that when she received the assistance directly from the head of "Dharma Guna" Center Bengkulu, Masitotu Mulja.

Even though the road conditions were quite extreme to Mariah's house, the head of the Dharma Guna Bengkulu Center was still enthusiastic about delivering the assistance directly. Her coming was warmly welcomed by village officials and the local community.

The activity went lively and smoothly, even though it was raining in the morning, but not become an obstacle and could be carried out successfully.
