CAWANG (18th June 2020) - Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto, representing the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, officially opened the COVID-19 Rapid Test. This activity is a collaboration between the Ministry of Social Affairs and IPSM, the Ministry of Health, Standard Chartered, Halodoc, Kalbis, Kowani, Moestopo University, and Mitra Keluarga.

The target for this Rapid Test is 1,226 people consisting of the elements from Jabodetabek PSM, Journalists, Buddhist Women, Pita Putih, Kowani, Educators and Education Personnel, YKPI, Disabilities and Health Workers.

Furthermore, the Director General of Social Empowerment symbolically handed over the basic food packages for the participants who took the Rapid Test, except for the journalists. This Rapid Test was held for 2 days from 18th to 19th June 2020 while still implementing the COVID-19 health protocol such as wear a mask, checking body temperature and washing hands before entering the building, and paying attention to physical distancing when queuing.

In the opening ceremony was also attended by Special Advisor of the Minister of Health, Acting Director of PSPKKM, The Chairperson of National IPSM, Secretary General of National IPSM, Head of Standard Chartered, Chief of Medical Halodoc, as well as all Activity Committees from both IPSM and Kowani.
