WONOGIRI (April 25, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Center for Disabilities Surakarta sent a Psychosocial Support Service (LDP) team to the crew of the KRI Nanggala-402. The LDP team consisted of 3 people consisting of social workers, social counselors, and psychologists.

In accordance with directions from the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Mrs. Tri Rismaharini that the Ministry of Social Affairs will provide psychosocial support for the families of the KRI Nanggala 402 crew who have lost contact since April 21, 2021, in Bali waters at 03.00 local time.

The LDP BBD Team "Prof.Dr.Soeharso" Surakarta visited the house of one of the crew members of the KRI Nanggala 402, namely Lt. Laut Rintoni who is located at Bulurejo Village RT 01/RW 03, Bulukerto District, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java Province.

The LDP team from BBD "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta provided psychological support and motivation for his wife, two of Lt. Rintoni's children, and several family members accepted this incident with fortitude and patience. Apart from that, social workers and psychologists also have the opportunity to provide trauma healing to the first child of the victim by counseling and playing together.

The victim's first daughter was very cheerful and cooperative when contacted. From her tiny lips, this little girl still hopes that her father can come back to bring her favorite snack "kebab". Every now and then the LDP team is touched to see the concern of the little girl when she fetches tissues and wipes her mother's tears while monitoring the development of the search for ships via cellphone media. The LDP team has great hopes and prayers that the process of finding the crew of the Nanggala-402 ship will be completed soon and provide the best news.

Ms. Mawar (34 years old), wife of Lt. Rintoni, thanked the Ministry of Social Affairs for giving her family psychological attention and support. This support means a lot to those who are still waiting for the ship search process which until now is still being attempted so that the entire crew of the ship can be safe.

Lt. Rintoni was married in 2012 and was blessed with 2 daughters. The first child is named Rilyn Belfania Rintoni, aged 6, who is currently still in Kindergarten B, while the second child, Hilya Nova Prawira Rintoni, is 15 months old. According to his wife, Lt. Rintoni is a husband who is disciplined, patient, dignified and loves his family very much. Mrs. Mawar also said that her husband always tries to take the time to come home to visit his family once a week.

The LDP team from BBD "Prof.Dr.Soeharso" Surakarta said that the intent and purpose of this visit was to stay in touch and convey a sense of empathy, as well as provide support and prayers. Hopefully, the crew on behalf of Letda Rintoni are still given safety and protection from God and can be reunited with their families.
