DENPASAR (September 4, 2019) - The Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Andi ZA Dulung stated the importance of selecting the Beneficiary Families (KPM) prospective recipients of the Joint Business Group (KUBE) to produce an independent business so that the poor are free from the snares of poverty.

"I think the Social Service needs to select KUBE recipient candidates again so that later the business they run will not stagnate on the road and can succeed KPM, changing their status from the poverty gap," said the Director General of PFM in the KUBE Social Assistance Capacity Building event in 2019 organized by the Directorate of PFM Region II (4/9).

At least, Andi added, what was prioritized was KPM which already had a business so that the Ministry of Social Affairs was helping with capital.

The event which was held at a hotel in Bali was attended by 162 participants consisting of KUBE supervisors and social assistants from 15 Provinces and 32 Regencies / Cities in Indonesia. This activity is a continuation of the Capacity Building of Assistance in 2018 which at that time had not been divided into Regions I, II and III.

The Director General of PFM urges KUBE to succeed and prosper the KPM, as well as the social assistants who must continue to innovate and be creative in finding business opportunities and seeing their markets. Therefore, the purpose of this event is that KUBE facilitators can increase the capacity, capability, performance and accessibility of companions to the business network.
