The Ministry of Social Affairs Continues LDP and Provides ATENSI Assistance for the Families of Nanggala 402 Crew in Sidoarjo

SIDOARJO (27 April 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs, through the "Antasena" Children's Center in Magelang, continued strengthening Psychosocial Assistance Services (LDP) for the families of Nanggala 402 crew who drowned in the waters of the north of ​​Bali. The Children's Center "Antasena" also provides ATENSI assistance based on the assessment that has been carried out in the form of meeting basic needs for the families of victims who are still children. This is following the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini that the Ministry of Social Affairs is empathetic and provides support and moral reinforcement for the families victims.

 

The LDP Children's Center Team "Antasena" together with the Social Worker Service Unit (Sakti Peksos) of Sidoarjo Regency visited the residence of the late Sergeant M. Rusdiyansyah R which is located on Jl. Makam RT / RW 008/002 Kragan Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. He left a wife and a child who was only 2 weeks old. The wife of the deceased, Gresialia Fernanda looked tough and strong when met by the LDP Team. Even though she still feels pain from the cesarean section that was performed during childbirth, her face that looks red, and her eyes puffy, she always tries to smile.

 

The Social Worker of the Child Center "Antasena" strengthens it by motivating to Gresialia. "There is a legacy of the deceased which is very valuable and must continue to be given love to grow to be like his father," said Evi Nurcahyaningrum.

 

The next family visited was the family of the late Lieutenant Mukh. Susanto. The house which is located in the village of Bogem Pinggir, Balong Bendo, Sidoarjo, has already been fitted with tents and rows of chairs on the lawn. While doing the psychosocial assistance, Sri Utami's wife was accompanied by her four children. The first and second children are twin daughters named Safara Kaselina Ramadani and Safira Kaselina Ramadani who are 22 years old and are continuing their education at college. The third child is a 15-year-old boy named Faiz Hidayatullah and is in the second grade of junior high school and the youngest, Kayana Naila Azizah, is a 12-year-old girl who is in the 5th grade of Elementary School.

 

"God willing, I am strong," said Sri Utami. "Even though I still like to feel lost, especially when I pray, I often remember him, but I try to be strong and sincere," she added. Safara shared one of the most memorable memories about her father. “I asked you, Dad, why I was given the name Kaselina? I know Kaselina stands for Kapal Selam Indonesia (Indonesian Submarine Ship), but why was it made my name? Then he answered because when we were both born, he was in a submarine, that's why he gave the name Kaselina,” she said.

Sumarno, Social Worker of the “Antasena” Children's Center helped strengthen the family of the deceased. "Thank God, the mother has tried to be strong for the children because they still need guidance". Strengthening and mentoring are also given to the children of the deceased. "You have to strengthen each other and often accompany you because there will be times when you feel lost," added Sumarno.

In addition to conducting LDP, the Team also provided Social Rehabilitation Assistance or ATENSI for the three families of victims who were still children. The type of assistance provided is adjusted to the results of the assessment and the child's age. For infants aged children are given baby equipment and baby toys, elementary school children are given books, stationery, children's games, milk, and honey, while junior high school children are given books and stationery as well as religious supplies plus milk and honey.
