Heri Kris Sritanto in his speech said that this basic food assistance is a form of government attention, that the Ministry of Social Affairs is here for the elderly and people with mental disabilities. "Hopefully this assistance will be useful for fulfilling nutrition for the elderly and people with mental disabilities who receive services at Griya PMI Peduli." Sumartono Hadinoto expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Social Affairs for the nutritional assistance for the residents of Griya PMI Peduli.

On this occasion, Sumartono informed that PMI Surakarta City was the only PMI that did not hold a funding month and did not use the local government budget. "So far, Griya PMI Peduli's operational costs have come from donors who regularly donate their assets through Bank Syariah Mandiri at account number 7039621597 belonging to Griya PMI Peduli or through PMI Surakarta," he added.

"Our hope is of course from the local government, the Ministry of Social Affairs or personally to take care of our brothers and sisters who have mental disorders, the elderly who are abandoned on the streets," he concluded.
