SUKABUMI (12 March 2021) - The Director-General of Social Rehabilitation, Harry Hikmat is following up on the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini to prepare 41 Social Rehabilitation Centers to build ATENSI Creation Centers.

Led by Dede Khaerufirdaos, Loka Karya Kahuripan Sukabumi, which provides rehabilitation services for persons living with HIV / AIDS in the future will provide integrated services that are integrated with social empowerment, social protection and security as well as handling the poor.

Loka Karya Kahuripan Sukabumi with an area of 3.2 hectares is one of the place prepared for the construction of the ATENSI Creative Center which is planned to focus on agro-tourism centers, ranging from papaya, banana, grape, strawberry, sweet potato and sweet potato agro-tourism.

Harry said that this Loka Karya should look for a special consultant for agro-tourism development. Harry directs an attractive agro-tourism concept, its development needs to be planned from upstream to downstream, beneficiaries or visitors starting from planting, harvesting, processing to becoming ready-to-eat products.

"The concept of social rehabilitation services like this is integrated with social empowerment. Planting, harvesting, and processing cassava into ready-to-eat products such as tapai (sweet cake made of slightly fermented rice or tubers), chips, or other products that are more attractive and involve beneficiaries in every process," said Harry.

Then, banana agro-tourism can also be processed in addition to the fruit. One of them is banana stalks that can be recycled into handicrafts such as jewelry boxes, tissue holders, and goodie bags.

Harry also suggested various grasses and rubbish in the workshop that could become compost, like what was done at the ATENSI Creation Center, Pangudi Luhur Bekasi Training Center.

Not only that, but Harry also directed to provide an agro-tourism concept with jogging track facilities, outbound, gazebo, and guest house where visitors stay. Along the jogging track, several gazebos will also be provided for resting.

Besides, this Loka Karya also has 3 fish ponds which will also be developed. A total of 2 ponds containing tilapia fish, sepat fish, and catfish, and 1 other pond containing koi fish. In the future, the guest house will also be equipped with a koi fish pond which can be a place for relaxation.

Several skill rooms, such as the sewing room, and screen printing room, will be designed into one large room equipped directly with a showroom.

Another important thing that concerns Harry is the accessibility of the Loka Karya Kahuripan Sukabumi for persons with physical, sensory, mental, and intellectual disabilities. Starting from the access road that needs to be repaired, namely the local entrance to the agro-tourism location.

Harry also advised that every building and room need to be equipped with universal toilets, which can be used for persons with disabilities and non-disabilities.

Harry continues to emphasize the commitment of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in handling the beneficiaries. "The ATENSI Creation Center which focuses on agro-tourism will later provide economic opportunities for the beneficiaries, including street children, punk kids, and others," said Harry.

The review was also attended by the Director of Social Rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities Eva Rahmi Kasim, Director of Social Rehabilitation for the Elderly Andi Hanindito and the Head of the Center for Disabilities Phala Martha Sukabumi Cup Santo.
