LAMONGAN
(27 April 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Disability
Center "Phala Martha" sent a Psychosocial Support Service (LDP) team
to the families of the victims of the sinking of the Nanggala 402. The LDP team
led by the head of Center of Phala Martha had previously implemented LDP in Bojonegoro
Regency and continued to the Lamongan Regency.
The Minister of Social
Affairs, Tri Rismaharini ordered her staff to deploy a Psychosocial Support
Service team to help the families of the victims of the sinking of KRI Nanggala
402. This was followed up by the Phala Martha Center by visiting the families
of the victims in Lamongan.
The home visit was done to
the residence of the victim's family named Edi Siswanto who was the navigator
at KRI Nanggala 402. The victim's house is located in Sumberaji Village, Sukodadi
District, Lamongan Regency, the team immediately met Miya Sri (28), the
victim's wife and family.
In the victim's house,
there were lots of flower garlands as a sign of condolences from various
parties, one of which was the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko
Widodo. The family is also still gathering at the victim's residence,
accompanying Miya's mother who looks still very sad. One of them is Mr.
Sukirman and his wife, he is the older brother of the victim who is also a
member of the Indonesian Army.
Miya's mother still looks
shocked and as if she can't believe what happened to her husband. She was still
crying when she told me something about her husband. Ms. Miya talked about her
husband who loved her and always helped her take care of the house when she
wasn't on duty. "My husband is very loving and understanding to his
family," said Miya's mother.
In line with the
statement of the victim's wife, Mr. Sukirman also told about the kindness of
the victim "Our parents only have two children, me and Edi, so we are very
close, my younger brother is very obedient to his parents and in worship,"
he said.
The team provided mental
psychological support to the family, especially the victim's wife. Support is
given to strengthen the family. The team also tried to provide alternative
thoughts on another focus, namely how to sustain life for the families left
behind.
