The MoSA Collaborates with Partners to Provide Assistive Equipment for Disabilities

JAKARTA (April 26, 2024) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini was present at the handover of the #rodakebaikan program initiated by Benihbaik.com, Grab Indonesia, and Hyundai Indonesia in the Main Lobby of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.
The assistance provided is worth IDR1.75 billion which will later be distributed to disability beneficiaries under the auspices of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.
This assistance includes prosthetic hands, prosthetic legs, wheelchairs, and shopping vouchers. It was given symbolically to 3 disability benefit recipients, including Leni Herlina, a wheelchair beneficiary, Wahyu, a prosthetic leg beneficiary, and Amellya Citraningrum, a prosthetic arm beneficiary.
Apart from that, the Minister of Social Affairs also invited the beneficiaries to go around and show some of the work of the disabled beneficiaries in the hope of fostering a spirit of independence and creativity.
