LOMBOK (July 27, 2022) - There is always a way for children who are diligent and work hard. Azmi Hakiya is one of the neglected children aged 9 years from Gelumpang Hamlet, Suralaga District, East Lombok Regency.

Since childhood, Azmi lived with his grandmother who worked as a daily laborer to pick chilies and tobacco. His parents had divorced because his mother had a mental disorder and his father left them. However, with a strong spirit and perseverance, Azmi can carry out school assignments well. In addition to being diligent in school, this 3rd-grade student of SDN 1 Suralaga also helps his grandmother with work every day. It didn't stop there, in the afternoon Azmi also diligently recited the Koran accompanied by his grandmother.

With a sincere heart, he hangs high hope to the sky. He is dreaming to become a doctor, hoping that one day he can treat his sick mother. Azmi's spirit is an example of the spirit of one of the Indonesian children to reach their hopes and dreams. In the context of this National Children's Day, let us give protection to the rights of Indonesian children to realize an Onward Indonesia.
