TULUNGAGUNG (October 16, 2020) - "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Center for Social Rehabilitation of People with Physical Disabilities (BBRSPDF) in Surakarta as Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation- Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs held "ATENSI" (Social Rehabilitation Assistance) Comprehensive Assessment for persons with disabilities in Tulungagung Regency, East Java Province.

The ATENSI activity was held for 4 days starting on October 13-16, 2020, with 135 participants in the assessment of persons with disabilities, while the "ATENSI" assessment area in Tulungrejo Village, Besuki District was 14 people with disabilities, in Waung Village, Boyolangu District, 70 people with disabilities and in Plandaan Village, Kedungwaru District, there are 51 people with disabilities.

The "ATENSI" comprehensive assessment activity presented various professions in "Prof.Dr.Soeharso" Center and for professions not in the Center collaborated with Surakarta Health Polytechnic.

The professions or disciplines involved are social workers, whose task is to collect data through social aspects, psychologists collect data from behavioral and psycho-social aspects, the physiotherapist profession explores aspects to develop, maintain muscle movement and restore body functions, therapists for hearing and speech disabilities explore about speaking the language; voice and rhythm disorders, the social counsel profession provides socialization about ATENSI to persons with disabilities, parents with disabilities, community leaders and village officials.

In her speech before the Head of the Tulungagung Regency Social Office, Tutik Nurning as the regional coordinator, said that "Assessment activities are a comprehensive screening process to explore the problems of Persons with Disabilities in the area, which will then be scheduled to follow up in the form of intervention activities at the next stage."

At the closing ceremony on Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Bima restaurant, the results of a comprehensive assessment of 135 people with disabilities who had received assessment services were delivered. In the presentation of the results of the assessment attended by the Head of the Tulungagung Regency Social Office, represented by Chanief as the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division, attended by invitations from the Tk II BAPPEDA of Tulungagung Regency, the UPT BLK of the Manpower Service, and the Tulungagung Disability Association LKS (PERCATU), the Tulungagung Disability Association and testimonials from parents with disabilities.

The results of the activity after conducting an assessment for 3 days in Tulungagung Regency to 135 persons with disabilities, the conclusion of the results is the need for strengthening the family economy by training in the form of animal feed fermentation training, training in Sibori batik and servicing of electronic equipment, establishing a training house as a means of meeting parents with disabilities for provide social rehabilitation assistance interventions for children with disabilities and some people with disabilities still require mobility aids, prostheses and orthoses that are in accordance with the physical condition of their disability.

The submission of the results of the comprehensive assessment was received by Chanief as the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division who represented the Head of the Tulungagung Regency Social Office. After the symbolic handover of the results of the assessment, it was followed by a question and answer session and friendly atmosphere.
