KOTAWARINGIN TIMUR (June 2, 2020) - Telawang TKSK, Kotawaringin Timur, Central Kalimantan once again carried out a social movement to help the community by participating in the process of distributing social assistance to affected residents in 6 Villages in Telawang District.

Social assistance that is distributed does not only come from the Central Government, but also from local governments, village funds, and even private companies through their CSR funds.

Cash Social Assistance (BST) from the Ministry of Social Affairs worth Rp. 600,000 / KK distributed to 83 households through the Post Office and Banks while BST from the province for Rp. 500,000 / KK distributed to 282 households.

Until now Wilmar Group (PT. BSK, PT. KKP & PT. MS) is a company that has helped residents in Telawang District by distributing 875 packages of basic food assistance.

These cash and social assistance bansos are very useful for residents affected by COVID-19 in Telawang District.

TKSK not only helps the distribution of social assistance, but also collects data directly into the field looking for residents who need helped by the government and the private sector.

TKSK as a right hand of Ministry of Social Affairs especially Directorate General of Social Empowerment, always coordinates and reports to the Regency / City / Province and Ministry of Social for every social activity carried out in their regions.

Telawang sub-district government officials also felt greatly helped by the support of CSR funds from the private sector as was done by the Wilmar Group. The government cannot run alone without the involvement of the private sector in terms of helping affected people COVID-19.
