PEKANBARU (July 16, 2021) – Social Rehabilitation Center "Rumbai" in Pekanbaru owned by the Ministry of Social Affairs initiated a cooperation agreement regarding the distribution of Child Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) in 2021 with Bank Mandiri of Pekanbaru Branch.

 

The Head of the Center, Ahmad Subarkah, thanked Bank Mandiri Pekanbaru Area for being willing to cooperate in the implementation of the distribution of government assistance through the ATENSI program to children, which was aimed at 7 components, namely to support the fulfillment of a decent life, care, family support, therapy (physical, psychosocial, mental, and spiritual), skills/entrepreneurship training, social assistance, and accessibility support.

 

"We need to say that the Center's work area covers 4 provinces, namely Riau Province, Riau Islands, West Sumatra, and Lampung. This year our target is 3,715 children in 4 provinces for 15 clusters of Children Needing Special Protection (AMPK). Children's data we get through the assessment of our officers in the field. The amount of ATENSI service assistance for each child will be different based on the officer's assessment," added Ahmad Subarkah in the meeting.

 

The acceleration of the distribution of Child ATENSI assistance is following the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini and the Director General of Social Rehabilitation in every discussion of the program. Through Bank Mandiri, aid funds will be distributed to children who have gone through a comprehensive assessment, verification, and validation process. The assistance will be channeled directly to the account of each child.

 

Acting Head of Bank Mandiri Pekanbaru Area, Devi Anggraini thanked Ahmad Subarkah and his staff for holding this event. "This is a noble task, helping children who need special protection by distributing ATENSI assistance. We, Bank Mandiri, are ready to assist in the smooth distribution of this non-cash aid in a timely, targeted, and well-administered manner," she said.

 

Furthermore, Devi said that this was the beginning of cooperation. "This is the beginning of our cooperation. In the future there will be many more things that can be used as points for working together," she said.

 

Through this opportunity, Ahmad Subarkah also explained the programs and services provided by the Center to service recipients such as handling Child Victims of Sexual Crimes, Children in Conflict with the Law, Children Victims of Physical Violence, and others.

The meeting was held in the Children’s Center "Rumbai" meeting room attended by Functional Officers, Head of Bank Mandiri Pekanbaru Branch in this case is represented by Devi Anggraini and Bagus Narendra Hutama along with staff and Head of Bank Mandiri Pekanbaru Bawah Branch, Bambang.
