DELI SERDANG (16 July 2020) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Drug Abuse "Insyaf" in Medan received a visit from the Head of the Binjai City BNK and his entourage. This visit is a follow-up to the MoU between the Minister of Social Affairs and the Head of BNN. The collaboration that was emphasized between the two institutions was mainly related to the Community Based Intervention Program (IBM) plan in the city of Binjai. The group was immediately received by Ahd Sulaiman, Head of BRSKPN "Insyaf" Medan
The head of the Binjai City BNN, Suprayogi said that the Binjai City BNN will carry out Monitoring and Evaluation of the development of the former "Insyaf" BRSKPN beneficiaries in Medan after rehabilitation and will make them Recovery Agents (AP) in their respective areas. Binjai City BNN requires Beneficiary data from Binjai City to support the smooth running of these activities.
Sulaiman welcomes this collaboration and supports efforts to NAPZA by involving the community and the role of the family. BRSKPN "Insyaf" in Medan when carrying out Social Rehabilitation Atensi includes basic needs services, family support, social care, skills and entrepreneurship training, and psychosocial therapy. ATENSI can be done through family, community and residential approaches depending on the results of the assessment, said Sulaiman.
Sulaiman hopes with this collaboration, former Beneficiaries from the city of Binjai will receive monitoring from the BNN of Binjai City after Social Rehabilitation and become agents of recovery or agents of change, so that they are able to develop their social functioning after being in the family and have social responsibility to their families and communities.
On this occasion, the group also visited the facilities owned by BRSKPN "Insyaf" Medan to support the Social Rehabilitation process and observed Livelihood Therapy activities carried out by beneficiaries in the center.
