BOLAANG MONGONDOW (October 15th, 2019) - "Tumou Tou" Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Blind Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) Distributes Aids for Persons with Blind Sensory Disabilities (PDSN) in the region of Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi. The aids distributed were talkback cellphones, braille watches and sticks for PDSN.
In this 2019 fiscal year, "Tumou Tou" BRSPDSN Manado budgeted for the provision of aids for 75 PDSN in North Sulawesi and 60 PDSN people in West Papua. The provision of these aids begins with the assessment process which involves the Provincial Social Service Agency, Disability Facilitator and Social Welfare Institutions for Persons Disabilities.
Kamsiaty Rotty, as the Head of "Tumou Tou" BRSPDSN Manado hopes that persons with blind sensory disabilities can utilize the tools provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs. "We hope that the tools we distribute can make it easier for persons with blind sensory in carrying out their daily activities," he added.
