JAKARTA (February 6, 2020) - Social Affairs Minister Juliari P. Batubara hinted that the option of service bond education at the Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic (Poltekesos) would not be fully implemented. Students with the best achievements have the opportunity to have a career as a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"If it is a fully bonded service, it might be difficult. Because it requires a large budget readiness. Then also every year we have to meet the target of recruiting so many prospective students. This is not easy. Yes, semi-service bond. We are currently reviewing it," said Juliari, at the Social Affairs Badiklit HR Capacity Strengthening activity in Jakarta, Thursday (06/02/2020).

The Minister of Social Affairs is proud and wants to continue to strengthen the function of the Bandung Poltekesos as an "intellectual factory". The Minister believes that Bandung Poltekesos is able to play an important role in realizing President Joko Widodo's vision of producing superior human resources.

This is because the Ministry of Social Affairs has various centers under the guidance of Badiklit Pensos. Such as education centers, development centers, and training centers, which the Minister said were intellectual factories. "These are intellectual factories where we exercise trainers, assistants, and so on. From here we hope to realize the strengthening of superior human resources towards advanced Indonesia," said Juliari.

On a previous occasion, Juliari stated that the Ministry of Social Affairs has the task of realizing superior Human Resources (HR) according to President Joko Widodo's vision. In order to realize this vision, the Minister of Social Affairs hopes that Bandung Poltekesos, West Java will again become a service bond campus.

For this reason, the Minister of Social Affairs gave instructions to the Head of Badiklit Pensos Prof. DR. Syahabuddin, to study what is the best option so that graduates of the Bandung Poltekesos are not left alone, but some will be appointed as ASN.

"The Minister of Social Affairs wants alumni not to be left alone. There is a plan to make some of them civil servants. But it is still in the discussion stage," said Syahabuddin. His party will follow up on the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs by discussing this with the rectors and the Ministry of PAN RB for technical issues.

"I hope, there are 500 best students a year who can become ASN candidates. We want the best nursery pattern. For example, in a year there are 500 best students who become employees," he said.

The meeting with the Ministry of PAN RB, said Syahabuddin, will discuss the acceleration and of legalization of the Bandung Poltekesos to be like before, namely as a Ministry of Social Office bond campus.
