JAKARTA (11 July 2020) – Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P. Batubara doesn’t stop distributing social assistance to element of society. Minister of social affairs turns over symbolically social assistance groceries president to community Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) at Social Welfare Education and Training Center Margaguna.

As much as 1.630 social assistance groceries package the next one is given to speed off road and sprint rally community, Team rescue IMI DKI, Komunitas Motor Tuna Runggu, Ikatan VespaIndonesia, and Persatuan Mobil Kuno Indonesia members under the auspices of IMI regional DKI Jakarta and Banten Province.

“We are Ministry of Social Affairs will always be ready to help members in Automotive, Sport, Tourism, and others community in needed,” said Juliari Batubara.

In this case, it’s not only government who answers the problem arise due to Covid-19, but also the community who is also distributing social assistance dealing with the impact of Covid-19.

“We thank the minister, surely this is very helpful for automotive people, members of Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI),” said Head of IMI, Sadikin.

As we know that the last 4 months have been the toughest conditions experienced by all levels of society, including automotive people.

One of the recipient’s social assistance, Mr. Zulchairi as a mechanic and member from Ikatan Vespa Indonesia also felt the extraordinary impact of the covid-19.

“The impact of Covid-19 really hurts, I am grateful the government still paying attention to people like me. Thank a lot to Ministry of Social Affairs, Minister, and President,” said Mr. Zulchairi, the Mechanic of Ikatan Vespa Indonesia.

Not only two-wheeled vespa mechanics, but also mechanics and members of the Association of Indonesian Ancient Car Fans also feel the same way.

"Certainly during the Covid-19 period there was a decrease in funds, it was very difficult to get equipment and materials because many shops were closed, Work gets stuck,” said Mr. Darman as old car mechanic
