Virtual Dialogue with Social Minister Risma, Elderly in Tanjungjaya Happy to Get Assistance
TASIKMALAYA (May 28, 2022) - In commemoration of the 26th Elderly Day (HLUN),
the Ministry of Social Affairs held a series of activities that directly
touched the community, especially the elderly, and the Kartini Temanggung
Integrated Center participated in this activity.
The highlight of the 2022 HLUN commemoration was
held simultaneously in 39 sub-districts in Tasikmalaya Regency by presenting
hundreds of elderly in each sub-district.
In Tanjungjaya District, the 2022 HLUN was attended
by 200 elderly who seemed eager to take part in various activities in the form
of healthy gymnastics, health checks for the elderly, health education, delivery of assistance, and dialogue for the elderly with the Minister of Social
Affairs, Tri Rismaharini.
Meanwhile, ATENSI program from Kartini Temanggung
Integrated Center in Tanjungjaya District was distributed to 222 elderly with a
total of IDR 145,000,000.00.
The ATENSI provided was in the form of nutrition
and clothing for 200 PM, accessibility assistance in the form of wheelchairs
for 14 PM, entrepreneurship assistance for 7 beneficiaries (PM), and also Basic
Needs Assistance in the form of beds, mattresses, and household equipment.
Social rehabilitation assistance for uninhabitable
houses (RUTILAHU) was also distributed to 1 PM for IDR
20,000,000.00. So that the total assistance distributed in Tanjungjaya Regency is IDR
165,000,000.00.
The culmination of the 2022 HLUN series of
activities was closed with a dialogue between the elderly and Minister Risma,
via teleconference. The Minister greeted and had a dialogue with the elderly in
39 sub-districts.
Grandma Ninih (76 years old) expressed her
gratitude and joy for getting help, praying that the minister would live a
long, healthy, and blessed life.
The Tanjungjaya Sub-district Head expressed his
gratitude for the attention to the residents because they were given various
kinds of assistance ranging from house repairs to other assistance.
