Visit 3 UPT in Bandung, Minister of Social Affairs Check Service Readiness
Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini reviewed service activities and facilities in three Technical Service Units (UPT) of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs in Bandung and Cimahi on Thursday (18/03). The Minister of Social Affairs wants to make sure that the UPT of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Bandung and hopes that all corners of the country are ready to answer the various challenges of social welfare development.
The three UPTs visited by the Minister of Social Affairs yesterday were the Bandung Social Welfare Polytechnic (Poltekesos), the Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Sensory Sensory Impairments "Wyata Guna", and the Indonesian Braille Literacy Center "Abiyoso", Cimahi.
At the Wyata Guna Hall, the Minister of Social Affairs conducted a survey and checked the various facilities provided at the hall. He was seen walking around in several locations or buildings and had stopped and asked for a room for music education for people with visual sensory disabilities. The Minister of Social Affairs also visited several other facilities in Wyata Guna. Not to forget, the Minister of Social Affairs also took the time to visit More Cafe which is managed by people with disabilities. Social Minister ordered coffee with a little sugar.
Approaching evening, the Minister of Social Affairs and his entourage moved to the Indonesian Braille Literacy Center “Abiyoso”, Cimahi. On the last two occasions, to the Head of the Wyata Guna Hall, Sudarsono and the Head of Balai Abiyoso, Isep Sepriyan, the Minister of Social Affairs emphasized again that the balai services for beneficiaries are not only aimed at improving their social functioning.
