Visit Bertam Island, Riau Archipelago, Minister of Social Affairs Prepares Empowerment Programs

In general, Bertam Island faced the challenge of limited access which makes basic needs services difficult to provide. During her working visit on Wednesday (07/06), Social Minister Risma stated that the Ministry of Social Affairs is ready to provide educational facilities in the form of simple buildings.

In the discussion with the figures, energy needs were also revealed, as a basic need. Local residents have initiated a means of processing waste into fuel.
