Visit Erosaman-Amagais-Agats, Ministry of Social Affairs Continues to Encourage Papuan Empowerment
The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs continues to encourage the empowerment of the Papuan people. Therefore, Thursday (24/03), the Minister of Social Affairs again greeted the residents of Erosaman, after in November 2021, he came and handed over various aids.
In Erosaman, the Minister of Social Affairs monitored the implementation of the assistance that had been submitted in November 2021. The Minister of Social Affairs distributed various aids, including, for residents of Remote Indigenous Communities (KAT), basic necessities for computer magnetic generators, laying hens farms, longboat boats, and so on.
The Minister of Social Affairs also identified other needs not only for Erosaman Village, but also for the farthest village, Amagais village. In Amagais, the Minister of Social Affairs spreads catfish seeds, and lays the first stone for purifying water.
On this occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs also visited Agats Village to distribute aid. The assistance provided through the Agats Diocese, the Asmat Regency Government, and the management of the An-Nur Mosque, in the form of a water desalination machine, a solar cell package, cultivation of laying hens, vegetable seeds, fruit seeds, catfish seedlings, agricultural and fishery cultivation, two units of water desalination machines (Regency Government and An-Nur Mosque), and two solar cell packages (Regency Government and An-Nur Mosque).
