Visiting Pucang Anom Market in Surabaya, President Jokowi Gives Social Assistance

President Joko Widodo accompanied by Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo and the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa visited Pucang Anom Market, Gubeng, Surabaya, Sunday (21/8). During his visit, the President distributed Community assistance for Business Capital, Family Hope Program (PKH), Basic Food Program/BPNT, Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) and Social Entrepreneurship Program (ProKUS) to Family Beneficiaries (KPM) of PKH.

At Pucang Anom Market, the assistance provided was Community Assistance for Business Capital worth of IDR120 million for 100 KPM, entrepreneurship assistance worth of IDR19,626,200 for 5 KPM and basic food assistance for 100 KPM. Meanwhile, PKH assistance has been distributed through Himbara bank to 65,128 KPM with a value of IDR47.2 billion.

In addition, ATENSI assistance was provided in the amount of IDR96,610,412 consisting of an adaptive wheelchair worth of IDR20,270,214 for 4 people, smart blind sticks worth of IDR6,000,000 for 2 people, Mobile Coffee Bike Business Capital worth of IDR36,000,000 for 8 people, Business Capital Pracangan shop worth of IDR16,500,000 for 3 people, Business Capital for Grocery Stores worth of IDR11,000,000 for 2 people and sewing business capital worth of IDR6,840,000 for 1 person.

The President's visit to Surabaya is a step to encourage KPM PKH's economy to prosper. In line with this, the Ministry of Social Affairs continues to encourage the disbursement of aid so that it can be used for productive needs.
