Jakarta (October 31st, 2023) – President Jokowi instructs Indonesia to be more optimistic in terms of public service quality, especially encouraged by digitalization through Electronic Based Government System (SPBE).

On the Global Innovation Index (GII), Indonesia's position advances sharply, 12 places from 87th to 75th out of 132 countries in 2022. Government policy innovation is one of the contributors to the increase Indonesia's rank on the Global Innovation Index.

Thus, all government institutions, Ministries/Institutions, and regional governments should keep on making innovations, and the key is digitalization. Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms (Kemen PANRB) holds an Inclusive Exhibition of 10 Public Services Malls (MPP) Launching.

“The integration of services needs to be done locally, continued by digital services. Nowadays, there are 21 MPPs,” Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Abdullah Azwar Anas said in the Launching of 10 MPPs in Birawa Hotel Ballroom in Bidakara, Jakarta on Tuesday (31/10).

Ministry of Social Affairs participates in the exhibition, presenting the joint team from the Secretariate of Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Inten Soeweno Integrated Center in Bogor, Pangudi Luhur Integrated Center in Bekasi, Handayani Center in Bambu Apus, Mulya Jaya Center in Jakarta, Galih Pakuan Center in Bogor, Wyata Guna Center in Bandung, Abiyoso Center in Cimahi, and Phalamartha Center in Sukabumi.

On the occasion, Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms visited Ministry of Social Affairs’ booth that showcases the products of persons with disabilities beneficiaries, such as Bracelet for persons with Hearing and Speech Disabilities (GRUWI) and intellectual disabilities (GRITA).

“The beneficiaries coached by Ministry of Social Affairs are creative, innovative, and advanced in technology. Therefore, they can create GRUWI and GRITA bracelets,” Azwar Anas said in his personal social media account’s vlog.

Ministry of Social Affairs through Technical Implementation Units of Center and Integrated Center empowers persons with physical and mental disabilities with various products such as food, beverages, clothing, footwear, woodcraft, handicrafts, and also the making of aromatherapy candles, Adaptive Walking Stick (TPA) and braille machines.
