Wamena is Normal, We Can Go Back to School

After almost 2 weeks of being closed due to the riots that occurred in Wamena, today, 7 October 2019, all schools in Wamena City have started to be active again.

The Regional Government decided to reactivate school activities due to the conducive security conditions. Even so, there are no teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The activity on the first day of entering the school was filled with classroom cleaning, playing, and cheerful activities to eliminate the trauma of the students.

However, not all students enter school because there are a number of students who do not know that the school has returned. In addition, there are also a number of students who are still in refugee camps.
