"Wasana Bahagia" BRSODH Organizes Community-Based Social Rehabilitation
TERNATE (October 19th, 2019) - Located at Gamlamo Beach, Ternate, "Wasana Happy" Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (BRSODH) Ternate held a Community Based Care (CBC) Social Rehabilitation with the Makududara Social Welfare Institution (LKS). This activity was attended by 20 participants living with HIV who live in the city of Ternate and surrounding areas.
CBC is a form of implementation of the PLWHA PROGRESS that was carried out by "Wasana Bahagia" BRSODH Ternate. In this activity, partner LKS are required to play an active role in providing services to PLWHA friends. There are 2 partner LKS in the implementation of CBC in 2019, namely "Makududara" LKS Ternate and "My Hope" LKS Tobelo, North Halmahera Regency.
The activity was filled with a discussion on "Relationship of Nutrition with Health" which was guided by Andini, a lecturer at Muhammadiyah University, North Maluku. Andiani emphasized that this is important for PLWHA to meet nutritional needs so that health conditions are at an optimal level. " "Especially for you, where your immune system is being attacked by viruses," explained Andini.
