Welcoming Eid Al-Fitr, LRSODH "Pangurangi" Shares Basic Food
MAKASSAR (May 23, 2020) - The “Pangurangi” Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with HIV (LRSODH) distributed 210 packages of basic necessities for persons living with HIV (ODHIV) in 5 districts in South Sulawesi Province.
A total of 50 assistance packages were symbolically handed over by the Head of the HIV Center, Pengalamen Surbakti, to the Head of the “Perduli Kelompok Dukungan Sebaya (PKDS)” HIV Social Welfare Institution, Razhman Rahim, Makassar City.
Pengalamen said that the first phase of basic food assistance was carried out in Makassar City, following 4 other districts. The Head of PKDS, Razhman Rahim, said that this assistance was very useful for ODHA friends because some PKDS-assisted people were laid off and had no income.
Razman Rahim added that he was ready to distribute basic food assistance to ODHA friends in need, and hoped that the collaboration with the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Pangurangi HIV Center in Takalar would continue to be established for Persons with HIV.
