Welcoming New Normal Era, Ministry of Social Affairs and BNI Held the Fun Bike Event

JAKARTA (June 20th 2020) – To incite the spirit of welcoming New Normal, Ministry of Social Affairs held relax cycling. The activity officially released by Minister of Social Affairs. With a theme New Normal Spirit Fun Bike 2020 hope this activity could give the new spirit for doing activities in New Normal era.

This activity was held and collaborated with Bank BNI with around 90 people amount of participants from part of Ministry of Social Affairs, Bank BNI, and PT Pos Indonesia.

“This activity is a good form of partnership among Ministry of Social Affairs and Bank BNI also PT Pos Indonesia to make the public serving better, faster, and more precise, especially in the process of distributing social assistance" explained Juliari P Batubara.

The relax cycling route starts from the Ministry of Social Affairs Salemba to the finish line at the Kalibata TMPNU Convention Building, South Jakarta. Participants register and check their health before taking a relax cycling. Before being released by the Minister of Social Affairs at the starting point, a light warm-up was carried out and prayer together.

On this occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs also advised that in the New Normal era, it does not mean that COVID-19 has disappeared, but implementing health protocols is a fixed price that cannot be forgotten.

The activities also attended by Mrs. Grace P. Batubara, members of Dharma Wanita, Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Affairs Hartono Laras, Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto, Echelon I and II officials within the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Director of Bank BNI Institutional Relations Sis Apik Wijayanto, Director PT Pos was represented by the Director of Strategy and Institutional Nur Fajriansyah.

After arriving at the finish line, participants enjoyed the dishes provided at the Kalibata TMPNU Convention Building. Keep applying the COVID-19 health protocol before entering the building, such as washing hands and maintaining distance in the room. Participants enjoyed a meal while listening to songs performed by Trio Ambisi and Lilis Karlina. Besides entertainment, door prizes were also distributed in the form of 10 bicycles for lucky participants. At the end of the event, all participants danced poco-poco accompanied by music from Trio Ambisi.
