With Patience and Sincerity, Alma Remembers Chief Sergeant EKL Ryan Yogie Pratama
SIDOARJO (AprilĀ 26, 2021) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through the Satria Baturraden Residential Center is present in the midst of the families of the victims of the sinking of the KRI Nanggala-402, one of which is in Sidoarjo, East Java.
The grief is reflected in the Griya Samudra Asri Kramatjegu Taman Sidoarjo Housing, the home of the late Chief Sergeant EKL Ryan Yogie Pratama (30) in-law. Flags at half-mast were seen hanging in every house, signifying respect for the death of Chief Sergeant EKL Ryan Yogie Pratama while on duty.
Previously, the Satria Baturraden Resident Agency Team had visited the deceased's residence in Mojokerto. However, the house was apparently not filled.
The wife of the deceased, Alma Hanaya Hamid (26) is a Civil Servant at the Cilangkap Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) Headquarters. Their daughter, Humaira Mumtazah Pratama, is currently 15 months old. Alma's father, who is also a member of the TNI, recently passed away.
Chief Sergeant EKL Ryan Yogie Pratama comes from East Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), South Sumatra. So that his parents still reside there and have a rice milling business.
Chief Sergeant EKL Ryan Yogie Pratama is the first child of three siblings. Her first sister, Bella Dwi Putri, plans to get married in July 2021, while her youngest sister, Reva T Azahra, is still in grade 5 of elementary school.
Alma revealed that currently, her daughter-in-law is still in shock over their son's departure. According to Alma, her mother-in-law was unconscious when she heard this news and hoped that there would still be a miracle. However, Alma tried to be steadfast and sincere. "I feel sad, but I have to be brave and sincere," said Alma while stroking her chest.
Alma herself revealed that she did not have any premonitions before her husband died. Currently, their daughter is doing well, bearing in mind that at her current age, she still doesn't understand the situation. Alma hopes to be able to change jobs so she can be closer to her children and parents.
The local residents' concern for this disaster was shown by praying together at the deceased's house in Mojokerto while still observing health protocols.
The Satria Baturraden Residential Center team expressed their deep condolences and provided assistance and strengthening for the victims' families. This is in accordance with the direction of the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini that the Ministry of Social Affairs is here to provide moral reinforcement for the families of the victims of the sinking of the KRI Nanggala 402.
