BANDUNG (27 MAY 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs, through "Wyata Guna" Bandung Center, distributed 28 Al Qur'an Braille Digital packages for people with visual sensory disabilities (PDSN) in Malangbong District, Garut Regency. This activity was attended by the Head of the "Wyata Guna" Center, representatives of Kitabisa.com, representatives of Nusantara Volunteers, Secretary of Malangbong District, Danramil of Malangbong District, Chairperson of DPC PPDI Garut Regency, Chairperson of PPDI Malangbong District, and aid recipients.

 

This activity is an implementation of the ATENSI service, where "Wyata Guna" Center plays an active role in building networks with various parties that can support the implementation of meeting the needs of Persons with Disabilities in need. On this occasion, through Kitabisa.com, in collaboration with Nusantara Volunteers, "Wyata Guna" Center to realize a request from PPDI Malangbong Subdistrict, which requested Al Qur'an Braille Digital assistance for local PDSNs.

 

Iwan as the head of PPDI Malangbong District said that he was very grateful that "Wyata Guna" Center was very quick in responding to submissions and immediately realized the submissions through Kitabisa.com. Iwan hopes that in the future, "Wyata Guna" Center can continue to provide support to Persons with Disabilities to increase independence.

 

The Head of the "Wyata Guna" Bandung Center, Sudarsono, said that the activities carried out today were a form of support for persons with disabilities and also organizations that became a forum for activities for Persons with Disabilities.

 

"Wyata Guna Center will expand its network with institutions and community organizations that can provide support for humanitarian or social activities, so that in providing services "Wyata Guna" Center is not only fixated on the budget of the Center," said Sudarsono.

 

Kitabisa.com and Nusantara Volunteers said that they were very happy to participate in providing services to PDSN and hope that they can continue to participate in other forms. This collaboration is expected to be a sustainable collaboration for the realization of a more prosperous Indonesian society.
