Jakarta (27 September 2021) - A total of 291 people spread across 81 Work Units at the Ministry of Social Affairs took part in the technical guidance for strengthening agents of change organized by the Education, Research, and Social Counseling Agency (BP3S) Monday (27/09).

 

This activity is carried out outside the network (offline) and through the network (online). The presence of these agents of change in bureaucratic reform aims to foster exemplary in their respective work environments.

 

"Agents of change are selected groups who are pioneers of change as well as examples to always prioritize integrity," said the head of BP3S, Syahabuddin in his written statement.

 

He added that the change agents are expected to bring a change in mindset and work culture in a better direction. His party also asked the agents of change so that making changes to the implementation of bureaucratic reform can be carried out properly.

 

In addition, in his written statement, the Head of BP3S also said that if a change agent must exist, one of them would be through a change project, as an action plan from the change agent.

 

This activity also presenting resource persons from the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms namely Assistant Deputy RB for supervisory accountability, Raka Pamungkas who was moderated by the Head of the Organization, Law, and PR Division, Sancti R Tanta.

 

The event was held through a panel discussion, the participants were immediately given a technical explanation regarding the action plan form they would work on in the future.

According to Raka, 5 principles must be fulfilled in the development of change agents. Namely, leadership commitment, participation, sense of belonging, availability of resources, and a conducive environment.

 

For information on the output of this activity, change agents make an action plan as a change project in their respective work environments.

 

Also attending the event was the Secretary of BP3S and chairman of the change management working group of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Amin Raharjo.
