Ministry of Social Affairs through Dharma Guna Center Bengkulu has responded the case immediately. In May 18th 2022, the staff of Dharma Guna with other parties has brought the baby to the Rejang Lebong Public Hospital.
But fate willed otherwise. In May 19th 2022, at 07.27, Pitria was passed away and immediately buried. Dharma Guna Bengkulu also coordinated with village officials to manage her funeral.
Acting Head of Dharma Guna Center Bengkulu Massitotu Mulja said that Ministry of Social Affairs has done some interventions to take care to baby Pitria.
Some of the worked done is coordinating with Budhi Perkasa Center Palembang to process to make a reference for Baby Pitria to Palembang Hospital. At that time, the officials also finding out the readiness of the paediatricians who can do the surgery for Patricia in Palembang.
“We also coordinated with Rejang Lebong Public Hospital to provide fee waivers for mother and baby care,” said Massitotu in Bengkulu (21/05).
Furthermore, Dharma Guna Bengkulu coordinated with related parties to make Family Identity Card and ID Number for Hempy Muryati (Mother) and Arzon (Father). With these data, they can process to make government health insurance.
Afterthat, Dharma Guna Bengkulu will provide accompaniment and give motivation for Ms. Hempy that still hospitalize. “We do prepare ATENSI assistance in form of nutrients and postpartum needs for Pitria’s mother,” said Massitotu.
According to the assessment, Pitri’s family has never received the assistance from government neither PKH nor BPNT. Arzon and Hempy come from Seluma Regency Bengkulu and they live in a rented house in Air Pikat Village, Bermani Ulu, Rejang Lebong Regency for 1,5 years. They work as a farmer.
