Minister Juliari P. Batubara instructed the entire offcials Ministry of Social
Affairs to ensure the acceleration of the distribution of social assistance (Bansos).
In addition to alleviating the economic burden of the people affected by
COVID-19, also to move the wheels of the economy.
The
Ministry of Social Affairs budget ceiling continues to increase, mainly due to
support handling of the impact of COVID-19. The Ministry of Social Affairs
received a social assistance budget allocation of Rp. 100.2 trillion.
"This
is a great mandate to ease the burden on the community. I instruct all levels
to continue to accelerate the disbursement of the budget. In order to also turn
the wheels of the economy," said the Minister of Social Affairs Juliari
when opening the PKH HR Strengthening Technical Coordination Meeting, in
Bandung (04/07).
On
this occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs advised the Family Hope Program (PKH)
Human Resource, to ensure that the Social Welfare Card (KKS) is still held by
the Beneficiary Family (KPM).

sub-district social welfare staff (TKSK), group leader or any party for any
reason. "This is to minimize the potential for misuse of non-cash social
assistance. I support the KPM movement to hold the KKS itself," he said.
Make
sure social assistance can be utilized appropriately. KPM uses social
assistance to meet basic needs both food, health and education.
"All implementers of social assistance programs must work together in the field for the sake of acceleration, accuracy and usefulness of assistance for beneficiaries," he said.
