KUPANG (October 24, 2019) - Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Deaf and Mute Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSRW) "Efata" Kupang conducts phase II recreational activities which take place in the Bone Ana Swimming Pool, Cinemax Lippo Plaza Kupang and Kupang Nostalgia Park.
This recreational activity was carried out after three months of the Social Welfare Services Government (PPKS) following the social rehabilitation activities in the Balai. The purpose of this activity is to reduce the saturation that may arise during the rehabilitation period in the Balai, so that with this activity it is hoped that PPKS will again be eager to undergo rehabilitation activities.
The activity began at 08.00 WITA with the opening of Suwahyono as the Head of Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Deaf and Mute Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSRW) "Efata" Kupang. He advised that this activity can be used to eliminate boredom during social rehabilitation and as a media to strengthen the kinship between PPKS.
"We hope that this recreational activity can add to the happiness of PPKS because happiness will increase the spirit of PPKS in participating in social rehabilitation in the Balai," he continued.
Upon arrival at the Bone Ana Swimming Pool, Social Welfare Services Government (PPKS) was given a water game and one of them was throwing water. In this game Social Welfare Services Government (PPKS) is divided into five groups and then competed to throw each other and catch plastic bags filled with water using a cloth held together.
Giving this game aims to increase togetherness and cohesiveness among PPKS so that in the future PPKS is able to face challenges together. The activity then continued with free swimming and lunch. The next activity is watching together one of the films in the Cinemax Lippo Plaza Kupang cinema. The activity was closed by eating together at the Kupang Nostalgia Park.
