BANDUNG (June 22nd 2020) - During the social assistance distribution activities at the Bandung City Poverty Alleviation and Social Office (Dinsos Nangkis), the Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto also conducted a review of the activities of the "Cetar Juara" SLRT in Bandung City.
The Bandung City Government through the Poverty Alleviation and Social Office is an extension of the Central Government, namely the Ministry of Social Affairs. This can be seen from a strong commitment to serving the community to create social welfare for the entire community. One form of this is the formation of the "Cetar Juara" SLRT at the Bandung City Social Service.
"Cetar Juara" SLRT which means Fast, Perceptive, Aspirational, Responsive to Poverty Reduction has been established independently since last 2018.
"So SLRT is the gateway for social services. The reference is here, the nature of the service here starts from serving, consulting, and providing recommendations to related agencies needed by the residents," explained by Iis Kurnaesah, Head of Social Service Section of the Bandung City Poverty Alleviation and Social Office.
"Cetar Juara" SLRT can receive 80 social complaints per day. Starting from complaints about education, health, population, to social assistance. To provide social services, “Cetar Juara” SLRT formed Puskesos as a miniature of SLRT. The "Cetar Juara" SLRT in Bandung has 151 Puskesmas located in villages/sub-district spread across the city of Bandung.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, many residents tried to register to be included in the DTKS so they could get social assistance. This made services at SLRT and Puskesmas to add the special complaint service for COVID-19 assistance. Some of the officers came from PKH companion. To providing excellent service to the community, there are library facilities in the SLRT room. So it makes the residents, who are waiting for social services, feel comfortable.
