JAKARTA (January 17th 2020) - Following up on the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari P. Batubara at the Leadership Meeting which was held on January 8th 2020, the Director General of Social Protection and Security (Linjamsos) of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Harry Hikmat together with the Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security, Justina Dwi Noviantari and all the Heads of Divisions within the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Social and Political Sciences immediately consolidated with the entire work unit of the Directorate General of Social and Political Sciences.

The consolidation began on January 15th 2020 by visiting the Directorate of Family Social Security. Then, on January 16th 2020, the Director General and the team visited the Directorate of Social Protection for Social Disaster Victims (PSKBS) followed by the Directorate of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA).

"In particular, today we are following up on the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs at the Leadership Meeting which will be held on January 8th 2020", said Harry, starting his direction at each work unit (satker).

The Director General gave appreciation to all levels for their hard work in working, so that the Directorate General of Social and Political Sciences succeeded in realizing the highest budget which reached 99.92 percent.

"I would like to convey my highest appreciation and appreciation to all of you for your hard work, dedication, commitment, integrity and dedication during 2019", said the Director General.

In general, the Ministry of Social Affairs' budget performance score ranks second among all Ministries / Agencies. Meanwhile, in the scope of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Directorate General of Social and Political Affairs managed to obtain the highest assessment from the Ministry of Finance for performance evaluation in 2019.

"At the time of the meeting, thank God, based on the evaluation from the Ministry of Finance, the evaluation of the best performance of the Directorate General of Social and Social Affairs in the Ministry of Social Affairs with a score of 91.67, the highest score among all Echelon I Work Units", said the Director General.

There are six performance achievement indicators assessed by the Ministry of Finance, namely program output achievement with a score of 100; Absorption budget with a score of 99.39; Consistency of budget absorption on planning 99.85; Efficiency with a score of 0.61; Achievement of program targets with a score of 100 and an average score of the work unit of 87.98.

With this high score, the Director General requested that all employees take part in maintaining. "So, please maintain this, usually maintaining is not easier than reaching. We work hard without thinking that at the end of the year there will also be an assessment, it turns out that it is very detailed, ”he explained.

Several things have become the notes of the Minister of Social Affairs, he continued, and must become our common reference in carrying out programs and activities, namely first, each working unit should carefully check their respective DIPA, whether the budget is really efficient to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Second, the Minister of Social Affairs reminded that procurement (capital expenditure) should be accelerated by following existing regulations. We try to complete the auction process in January.

Third, the quality of spending must be improved so that the benefits will be felt for the people, not only focusing on absorption of the budget.

Fourth, the findings of the BPK and the Inspectorate General must be followed up immediately.

Harry invited all levels of the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security to unite steps in realizing comprehensive social protection for people in need.

"Let us together, unite, join hands to provide social protection to citizens in need. We have to leave sector egos both internally at the Ministry of Social Affairs and with other Ministries / Agencies, ”he appealed.
