CIREBON (13 April 2022) - President Joko Widodo has a serious concern to distribute Cooking Oil Cash Assistance (BLT). After reviewing the BLT Cooking Oil distribution in Jambi, today he left for Cirebon.
Landing with a Super Puma Helicopter at Chakrabhuwana Airport, Cirebon City, the President went straight to Harjamukti Market. He greeted the beneficiaries (KPM) who had been waiting for him.
The President advised the KPM to use the assistance for urgent needs. "It can be used for capital funding but not for mobile phone credit," said the President.
In addition to disbursing BLT Cooking Oil, the President also handed over Working Capital Assistance (BMK). The BMK is conveyed to street vendors and market sellers. After the activity in Cirebon, the President and his entourage continued to Central Java Province by car.
The President's activities in Central Java are centered in Tanjung Market and Bulakamba Market, Brebes Regency, Central Java. Here, the President also handed over several social assistance to the KPM.
In Cirebon, the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) allocated Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) of IDR 658,271,200,000 (3,291,356 KPM), BLT Cooking Oil of IDR 962,303,700,000 (3,207,679 KPM), Family Hope Program (PKH) Phase I of IDR 1,179,286,300,000 (1,707,511 KPM), and ATENSI assistance of IDR 850,068,800 (for 946 beneficiaries which includes Elderly, Disabled, and Orphans).
Meanwhile, MoSA gave assistance to Brebes Regency in the form of BPNT of IDR. 41,247,200,000 (206,236 KPM), BLT Cooking Oil of IDR 60,946,800,000 (203,156 KPM), and PKH of IDR 75,713,150,000 (110,217 KPM).
Then also ATENSI assistance for 211 beneficiaries with disabilities amounting to IDR 356,750,000, for 182 elderly beneficiaries IDR 95,918,800, for 363 orphan beneficiaries IDR 300,400,000, and 190 Children in Need of Social Function Development (AMPFS) IDR 97,000,000.
In West Sumatra Province, apart from inaugurating the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas BBI), the Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin also symbolically handed over BPNT, BLT Cooking Oil, PKH and ATENSI to beneficiaries in the Ateh Market Court or the Clock Tower of Bukittinggi.
On that occasion, the Vice President had a dialogue and reinforced the Beneficiaries to make the best use of the social assistance.
"Use the assistance for useful purposes, such as buying basic needs including cooking oil whose prices are currently increasing especially ahead of Eid al-Fitr," said the vice president.
Representing the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Secretary of the Directorate General of Poverty Handling (PFM) Beny Sujanto stated, that in Bukittinggi City, the MoSA assistance in the form of BPNT and BLT Cooking Oil reached 3,144 KPM worth IDR 2,829,600,000. Meanwhile, PKH Assistance Phase 2 targeted 616 KPM worth IDR 557,300,000.
“There is ATENSI Program assistance given to 5 beneficiaries with Disabilities of IDR 13,693,200, 5 elderly beneficiaries of IDR 9,962,500, 2 orphans of IDR 2,600,000, and 75 AMPFS of IDR 157,500,000. The total assistance in Bukittinggi is IDR 3,570,655,700,” said Beny.
Beny explained that the amount of MoSA assistance for BPNT, BLT Cooking Oil, PKH and ATENSI in West Sumatra Province was IDR 386,470,000,000.
"The budget is divided into BPNT of IDR 194,850,000,000 (324,758 KPM), BLT Cooking Oil of IDR 97,420,000,000 (324,758 KPM), PKH of IDR 91,980,000,000 (104,690 KPM) and ATENSI of IDR 2,220,000,000 (2,168 KPM)," he said.
Some sellers who received assistance also expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided by the President. They said they would make the best use of the assistance.
