JAKARTA (April 27th 2020) - The COVID-19 pandemic has not
prevented the Ministry of Social Affairs from building an Integrity Zone (ZI)
towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK) / Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM).
The Inspectorate General as the Internal Assessment Team (TPI) within the
Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs also took an active role in this effort
by conducting an initial evaluation.
To develop ZI towards WBK / WBBM, the Inspectorate General
scheduled a video conference with several work units within the Directorate
General of Social Rehabilitation and the Directorate General of Poverty
Handling
to present Period I of ZI Development towards WBK / WBBM.
There are ten work units scheduled to take part in the video
conference which will be held on April 24, 27 and 28, 2020. The four work units
that have been presented the results of Period I of ZI Development on 24 April
2020 are BRSPDM Phala Martha Sukabumi, BRSPDM "Margo Laras" Pati,
BBRVPD "Cibinong", Bogor and BRSAMPK "Handayani" Jakarta.
Two work units that made a presentation on April 27, 2020
were BRSPDM Budi Luhur Banjarmasin and BRSKPN "Galih Pakuan"
Bogor. Meanwhile, the four working units
scheduled to make presentations on April 28, 2020 are LRSLU "Minaula"
Kendari, LRSODHIV "Kahuripan" Sukabumi, Directorate General of Poverty
Handling
and BBRSBG "Kartini" Temanggung.
On this occasion, the work unit will present an independent
assessment of each work unit. The Inspectorate General has the role of
conducting an initial evaluation of these work units. The evaluation carried
out by the Inspectorate General is intended as a first step before the related
work units are proposed to the PAN-RB Ministry to get the WBK / WBBM predicate.
In the video conference which was held on April 27, 2020,
the Inspector General, Dadang Iskandar, Secretary of the Inpectorate General,
Arif Nahari and Osep Mulyani as Head of the General Section of the Inspectorate
General Secretariat participated in the presentation of ZI Development towards
WBK / WBBM. Dadang advised the work units to change their mindset, prioritizing
convenience, speed and transparency of service. In addition, the work units are
also expected to routinely conduct monitoring and evaluation and manage publications
through the media. Dadang also hopes that the working unit will initiate new innovations in
service.
