JAKARTA (October 25, 2023) – The Ministry of Social Affairs continues to develop services in handling Si C-Ce-based social problem complaints through a technology-based system that is integrated quickly and precisely.

Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini inaugurated the Control Center or Command Center of the Ministry of Social Affairs which is located in the Cawang Kencana Building of the Ministry of Social Affairs, East Jakarta.

This Control Center functions to monitor social welfare problems that occur in society in real time. The control center also collects problems, handles cases, gives orders, moves resources, controls the implementation of orders, coordinates media, and reports for a quick response to handling social problems.

"Frankly, we initially created this Command Center to follow up actions more quickly and measurably, especially when a disaster occurs," explained the Minister of Social Affairs.

This control center combines various information and complaint services in the Ministry of Social Affairs environmental work units which are connected to all Social Welfare human resources in Indonesia without any division of work unit tasks so that handling is integrated and documented.

Even though it has just been inaugurated, this Command Center has started operating since early October 2023. The Minister of Social Affairs is trying to continue to improvise, improve and improve so that the process of carrying out its duties and functions can run more quickly.

"Actually, this Command Center was operational at the beginning of last month, but we have only just made it official. We still need input from various parties, especially users," added the Minister of Social Affairs.

In its implementation, the Command Center has 16 operators who come from employees of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs who have gone through the previous assessment process.

Since the start of operations until now, the Control Center has received 193 complaints, of which 101 complaints have been resolved and 10 complaints are being followed up.

Command Center officers receive reports or obtain information on social welfare problems through several sources, including telephone service 171, Mass Media and Social Media, Human Resources for Social Welfare Organizers, Incoming Letters, and other complaint applications.

The officers' working hours are divided into 4 teams for 24 hours non-stop so that the operators' working hours are divided into 3 shifts for 1 day.

The presence of this Control Center undoubtedly made a positive impression on Member of Commission VIII DPR RI Ina Ammania who appreciated the innovation of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"Commission VIII DPR RI really appreciates the existence of this Command Center, we support and are ready to provide support to the Ministry of Social Affairs so that it can fulfill people's rights that have not been fulfilled," explained Ina Ammania when attending the Inauguration of the Control Center.

It is hoped that in the future, this Control Center will be able to provide social services and social assistance for the community more quickly and be able to reach all corners of the country without time and distance limits.

Also present were Members of Commission VIII DPR RI Ina Ammania and I Komang Koheri, Chair of the National Commission on Disabilities Dante Rigmalia, Special Staff of the Minister of Social Affairs, Middle and Primary High Leaders as well as Heads of Integrated Centers/ Centers/ Large Halls of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
