Jakarta (July 6, 2022) – MoSA through the Center for Education, Training, and Professional Development (Pusdiklatbangprof) received a visit from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

 

KOICA's arrival was greeted directly by the Head of Pusdiklatbangprof and employees. The purpose of this visit is to find out the extent of the training system and career development for social workers in the Centers/Social Institutions.

 

On this occasion, Afrizon Tanjung the Head of Pusdiklatbangprof also briefly explained related to the Social Welfare HR development program that has been and will be carried out.

 

This visit is also a series of Kick-off Field Visit activities carried out by the Korea Project Management Team (PM) in Indonesia until July 17, 2022.

 

The team from KOICA led by Professor Jiwan Han as Project Action Officer (PAO) also had the opportunity to discuss with the trainers about the Social Welfare HR training system.

 

For information, MoSA has established an inclusive collaboration with KOICA in terms of dealing with the Covid Pandemic. This collaboration aims to provide support for Social Welfare facilities for Indonesian Youth from Vulnerable Groups.

 

The initial process of implementing social programs related to the Social Rehabilitation of Vulnerable Youth has the target recipient of the collaboration, namely the Handayani Center.
