As a member country of The United Nation Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Indonesia is committed to fulfilling the rights of persons with disabilities. This is done as a form of implementation of the 2013-2022 Decade of Action Agenda for Persons with Disabilities, called the Incheon Strategy to Make the Right Real for Persons with Disabilities in Asia and the Pacific.
This action agenda, known as the Incheon Strategy, is intended to accelerate disability inclusiveness in development in the Asia and Pacific region, which is measurable and within an agreed time frame, over a decade.
