JAKARTA (March 17th 2020) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Harry Hikmat, chaired the Meeting for the Acceleration of Budget Optimization and Corona Virus Prevention Efforts at the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation.


In accordance with the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs at the high officials meeting (16/03/2020) so that each working unit takes steps in the effort and prevention of the Corona Virus and work unit services continue to run well, be maintained and protected. It was also stated that Balai could function as a quarantine and crisis center. "Balai must ensure the hospital referral system if there are beneficiaries who are exposed," said Harry.


Harry further gave directions for all Directorates to ensure that their respective centers put up pamphlets and posters related to the prevention and efforts to overcome the Corona Virus. Early detection system of people entering and leaving the hall through checking body temperature and providing hand sanitizers and providing masks.


Regarding the Acceleration of Budget Optimization, for 4 (four) Balai Besar / Balai that will receive capital expenditure optimization and have received special attention from the Minister of Social Affairs such as BBRSPDF "Prof. Soeharso" Surakarta, BRSPDSN "Wyata Guna" Bandung, BRSAMPK "Handayani" Jakarta and BRSLU "Budhi Dharma" Bekasi will be discussed via teleconference.


In addition, to accelerate the budget for social assistance, it should be recapitulated as a whole and the service mechanism so that a standard chart of service delivery is drawn up at the center and each directorate monitors its implementation. Acceleration of distribution of social assistance in the framework of safety net for PMs who are among the extreme poverty vulnerable groups.
