BBRSPDF "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Holds Graduation Ceremony of PPKS Batch II
SURAKARTA (December 5th 2019) - Center for Social Rehabilitation of Persons with Physical Disabilities (BBRSPDF) "Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta held a graduation or release of the Second Generation of Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) in 2019 at the BBRSPDF Multifunction Building "Prof.Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta. PPKS graduation is a sign that they have successfully completed advanced social rehabilitation through stages of therapy while in the Center.
There were invited guests from the Muspika, the Rehabilitation Center of the Ministry of Defense Representatives in Surakarta, the Surakarta City Library, 21 Provincial / Regency / City Social Services from the region of origin of the PPKS sending, and parents of graduates.
On this occasion, the Head of Rehabilitation and Advanced Guidance, Tutik Nurning, who represented the Head of the Center, released or graduated 83 PPKS. A total of 83 PPKS who graduated and finished participating in the Advanced social rehabilitation service program at Balai consist of several types of skills, namely computers, sewing, electronics, printing and screen printing, photography, carpentry, motorcycle repair, handicrafts, culinary, and embroidery.
On the occasion of the release or graduation, a drumben performance and an umbrella dance performance were initiated. There was also the awarding of PPKS who succeeded in becoming PPKS with the best performance, the most diligent visitors from the Surakarta regional library and the provision of assistance aimed at all graduates symbolically of Rp. 1,850,000, -
