BLBI "Abiyoso" Performs Assistance in the Use of Audio Applications
TABANAN (December 12th 2019) - Indonesian Braille Literacy Center (BLBI) "Abiyoso" Cimahi in collaboration with the The Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Vision Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) "Mahatmiya" Tabanan conducts Assistance for the Use of Audio Mobile Library (AML) for People with Vision Sensory Disabilities (PDSN).
Head of BRSPDSN "Mahatmiya" in Bali, Ketut Sumpena accompanied by the Head of the Administration Subdivision received the AML Assistance Team from BLBI "Abiyoso" in Cimahi, namely the Head of the Braille Literacy Provision and Utilization Section, Odjak Reynald Simatupang and two Talk Book Editors.
At the opening of the activity, Odjak conveyed the aims and objectives of assisting the use of AML as the implementation of digital technology services through the AML application which can be downloaded for free on the Playstore via a smartphone.
Ketut expressed his gratitude to the BLBI "Abiyoso" Cimahi Team for attending and providing opportunities for assistance to PDSN in Tabanan in utilizing the AML application as a source of information or literacy to increase knowledge and competence for PDSN.
Ketut also advised the Assistance Activity Participants to take advantage of information technology, especially in accessing various information topics that could be obtained from AML.
A total of 20 PDSN participated in this activity. The participants were very enthusiastic about the process of mentoring the use of the AML application which was guided by the Talk Book Editor.
