BRSAMPK "Handayani" Welcomes Chinese Delegation Visit
JAKARTA (December 13th 2019) - Director of Social Rehabilitation for Children, Kanya Eka Santi representing the Director General of Social Rehabilitation received a working visit from the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China and representatives of Unicef China at the Social Rehabilitation Center for Children who Need Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Handayani" in Jakarta .
The delegation, which numbered eight people, was led by the Director General of Child Protection accompanied by five Directors, namely the Director of Adoption, the Director of Child Care, the Director of Child Welfare, the Director in the special border area of Mongolia and the Director of Social and Volunteer Work Promotion. Also attended by two representatives of Unicef.
During his visit, the Chinese delegation who had studied the model of child welfare programs in Tulungagung the day before, asked many questions about the social rehabilitation process for children who need special protection. Many questions were asked while reviewing all services at BRSAMPK "Handayani" Jakarta.
When visiting the Child Friendly Telephone service (TEPSA), the Director General of Child Protection of China said that, learning from the explanation of the TEPSA social worker, he would soon build online services such as TEPSA.
At the end of his visit he expressed his hope, "Indonesian and Chinese children can grow and develop well under the blue sky and can smile every day," he said.
Not only that, the Director General of Child Protection of China also hopes that delegation of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs can visit the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs in Beijing and visit several service centers managed by the Ministry.
