MATARAM (April 9th 2020) - Water hyacinth has been regarded as one of the enemies of farmers because water hyacinth is believed to absorb the nutrients needed by rice.

However, water hyacinth in the hands of children at the "Paramita" Center for Social Rehabilitation of Children in Mataram, the UPT Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Ministry of Social Affairs, can be such a beautiful sandal craft.

SEGO PARAMITA, Paramita Water Hyacinth Sandal, that's the branding they made.

SEGO PARAMITA packaging boxes are also made from paper and banana stalks which are processed by soaking paper and banana stalks, blending and printing to become very exotic thin paper.

Banana frond packaging is also a small step to help farmers and protect the earth from being surrounded by plastic waste.
