BRSAMPK Social Worker "Alyatama" Invites Various Pro-Active Parties to Complete AMPK
NORTH MUSI RAWAS (December 6th 2019)
- The Social Rehabilitation Center for Children who Need Special Protection
(BRSAMPK) “Alyatama” in Jambi sent four Case Response Teams, namely Alita,
Aulia, Dedi and Ratu. The case response which was carried out on December 5th
to 6th 2019 covered two cases in two different locations in North
Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. With the distance traveled and the
natural conditions that were quite extreme, it did not deter the team from
coming.
Based on a
report from the Social Worker Service Unit in the area, the team visited the
first case, namely a child who is a victim of drug abuse. The team together
with the Head of Social Rehabilitation and other colleagues from the North Musi
Rawas District Social Service invited the local village head and Public health
center officers to see the child's condition. The result of the case response
is that children must first receive medical care related to drug abuse in
collaboration with the local Public health center and IPWL so that they can be
immediately referred to.
The
response of the two teams' case went to a different location from the case of
the child victim of sexual abuse by her biological father. The child must be
saved and secured. Providing therapies at the hall will
help children recover from their traumas. Therefore, the Office of Social
Affairs will immediately refer the child to receive rehabilitation in the
center.
