BRSEGP "Pangudi Luhur" Increases Psychosocial Therapy Ability
BOGOR (December 4th 2019) - Social Rehabilitation Program 5.0 New Platform (Progres 5.0 NP) encourages The Social Rehabilitation Center for Ex-Homeless and Beggar (BRSEGP) "Pangudi Luhur" Bekasi to improve the quality of advanced social rehabilitation services. One of them by carrying out human resource capacity building activities, especially the ability of social workers in conducting psychosocial therapy. This activity was held from December 2nd to 4th 2019 at Padjajaran Suites Resort & Hotel, Bogor.
"Cognitive, affective, behavioral and environmental changes are the target of psychosocial therapy," said Meiti Subardhini, Poltekesos Lecturer in his explanation in front of 37 participants. Social workers are required to have effective communication skills as a basis in carrying out psychosocial therapy. In addition, it is also necessary to pay attention to the prevailing value system so that it can be used as one source of healing.
Psychosocial therapy can be implemented through

Lecturer facilitates participants to practice several therapies, including
